HI, The solution I use (which BTW is the one that is suggested in the MythTV manual) is the nvram-wakeup utility. (http://sf.net/projects/nvram-wakeup/) I had an unsupported MB, but was able to get a working setup with the included guess-helper program. You can configure MythTV to use this program at shutown in mythsetup.
