Hi All,

I have searched the list and found numerous people who have fought timezone
issues, but I have yet to figure mine out. I'm in the America/New_York
timezone and we just had our daylight savings "spring forward".

I've verified and checked various things.

If I type "date" at the command prompt, I see:
Sun Apr 17 16:41:07 EDT 2005

Check this thread ( http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/engine?do=post_view_flat;post=122546;page=1;mh=-1;list=mythtv;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC ) for the various fixes and workarounds with regards to the daylight time issue

My favorite timezone fix (workaround) is the simple "Virgin Islands" workaround. That's the one I use

Set your timezone to America/Virgin Islands (America/St. Thomas). Restart mythtvsetup; dump the programming info; run mythfilldatabase and you're all set until next fall...

Hopefully the bug will be fixed then.

Claude
