This is spawned from the discussion "VNC launches second mythfrontend", but I thought it proper to separate it.

It was suggested I try x11vnc.
It worked well, but as I was searching for info I discovered this.

This solution works very nicely for remoting to display 0 without installing other software and making sure it runs automatically.
Everything done on one desktop is reflected on the other. (except live TV, but I didn't need that)


You can also connect to display 1 if no interference to whatever myth is doing is desired.
