I'm using DVB-T in the UK. I want to use the Over the Air EPG. I updated last Saturday to 0.18, and since then I've not been getting the EPG (I didn't notice at first, it wasn't till all my schedules went blank!).
Since then I've tried recompiling, but it never seems to work. I've been using ./configure --dvb-path=/usr/include --enable-dvb --enable-dvb-eit qmake mythtv.pro make make install
Then when I go to the setup screen, there's no "Use OTA EPG" option on the channel screen.
What am I doing wrong?
I noticed that too, and ended up downgrading to 0.17.
In my case it *may* be that it now seems to require a 2.6.11 kernel, rather than the patched 2.6.10 I'm currently running. A build of 2.6.11 resulted in a bunch of other problems (one of which being the nvidia driver refusing to build), so it was a quick reboot to 2.6.10 and reinstall of 0.17 and restore of the database. If anyone can shed some light on this then I'd really like to upgrade.
