Well, almost not needed. The first time you try to put mythfilldatabase into crontab, you'll be smacked in the head with vi. I still don't know how to do more than quit vi, but I do know how to change my default editor now!
crontab honors the EDITOR shell variable. You could: $ export EDITOR=/bin/nano
if that makes things easier.
