FWIW, I'm having problems that sound exactly the same. I have no clue what's the problem. Maybe related, maybe not, but every recording of CSI that I make ends 5 minutes before the end. all other recordings are fine, if the mythbackend makes it that far, which isn't the case a lot of the time.
