Try installing the ivtvdev_drv.o that was posted to the thread
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/ivtv/devel/20694
(sorry I had pasted the link incorrectly before), I'm not sure if
it's the same one that's included (diff tells me the one included
with ivtv-0.3.5f is not the same one).
