if the same box looks good on your monitor, you may want to look into calibrating your tv (i'd HIGHLY suggest it regardless. .. you'd be amazed at the difference in picture quality actual calibration of your tv makes compared to factory settings)
related question: anyone know of free open test patterns/color bars/etc available? I have a DVD for calibration (that I use on the sets), but unfortunately I don't have a DVD player on the mythtv pcs.
