I have mythfrontend pointing to /dev/dsp for my audio...which hasn't changed. Here is my modprobe.conf and my .asoundrc modprobe alias snd-card-0 snd-intel8x0 install snd-intel8x0 /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install snd-intel8x0 && /usr/sbin/a lsactl restore >/dev/null 2>&1 || : remove snd-intel8x0 { /usr/sbin/alsactl store >/dev/null 2>&1 || : ; }; /sbin/mo dprobe -r --ignore-remove snd-intel8x0 my asoundrc is the same as Jarods example. http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/asoundrc.txt Oh..and after looking again.. I found the chipset. SiS 735 SI7012 (intel8x0) _______________________________________________ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users
