To play devil's advocate, recording schedule priorities can arbitrate "conflicts" during the overlap period, and IIRC there is already some notion of tolerance for starting a recording "late" (I think it's part of "record live TV" configuration?), so all the bits are there to do what is being proposed, and there might not be a repeat airing. But then again, this doesn't really affect me at all ... --Rob
