Hey - interesting. I have one of these sitting around from my PVR-250. I don't use it but I should. I think the next step is for you to use irrecord and record the raw data taht comes from the remote for each key. That gets sent to the guy who's name is listed on the lirc site and he'll format it into something usable. I'm sure you can probably do that step yourself if you're into doing that sort of stuff.
