It's not designed to be run from the command-line. You're "supposed"
to go to the "Watch Recordings" menu, select your recording, press
"right", "Job Options", "Begin Transcoding".

Or you can watch the recording, hit "M" to bring up the menu, and
select "Begin Transcoding". Or you can just hit "X".

At that point, if you're curious about the command-line, you can do
"ps -ef" in another window to see what is going on.
