You may well have a problem with your driver / card combination. However it's worth checking that somewhere down the line you haven't got an S-Video / Composite Video mismatch, which would produce a perfectly good, but black-and-white, picture. For example, if you'r actually feeding a composite video signal into the S-Video input then you'd get black white. I don't know whether the input on the 150 is selectable between composite and S-Video, but if it is, make sure you've got it set right.
