I have a Pace STU-120 cable box (Foxtel Australia) and I noticed that there is what looks like an RCA socket on the back labeled 'Serial Interface'.
Has anyone had a go at seeing if this can be used in a MythTV rig to change channels? I'm building an IR receiver and a transmitter from the LIRC site to see if I can get it to work that way but perhaps it would be simpler to build a cable to control the thing directly. Regards Marty
