Just a quick check, there's some sort of setting about power on/control on my Sky box (I have no idea where it is on a Sky+ box, and as I can't get access to my Sky box I couldn't tell you where it is there) This, as I understand it, needs to be switched on for the RF2link to work (also needs to be plugged into the RF1 output.
