Thanks, that was enough to get me going again - I can use the remote
with my myth install now. :-) Only drawback: I had to employ an ugly
hack in the source for the ir_common  module: I couldn't figure out
where the kernel determines which remote is being used, so I
hard-coded it to always pick the new Hauppauge one. Not exactly
elegant, but it works. :-)

Presently re-compiling xine with lirc-support. My lircrc is in
~/mythtv/lircrc. Will xine find its settings in there automatically
(after I added them, of course) or is there anything special I need to
do for that to work?
