/dev/video0 has the video available but it seems myth does not see it.

I have checked all my settings in mythth-setup ( capture card,
tuner etc... ) and mythfrontend looks fine too.
It dies after about 20 seconds and only shows a black screen.
Some areas to check would e appreciated. Things to try.... etc...

Can you view TV from ooutside Myth in something like
TVtime or xawtv?
Can you view vobs or mpg files via xine?
After getting these to work, you're well on your way.
Sort these two items out and we can help more.
