It's the urw-fonts package problem. It's documented in Jarod's FC4 How-To. You need to downgrade your fonts package as instructed there: http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php#setupmythtv -- which references http://www.users.on.net/~jani/dvico-mythtv-10.html#ss10.1 with download and install instructions plus tips on pinning the package in apt-get to avoid updating it in the future. If you use yum you'll need to add an exclude for the package in your yum.conf.

According to the RedHat bugzilla report on the problem, the later urw packages improved but did not fix the problem, so you still need to do the downgrade for myth. It's not big deal, it's just a font package, so it's not like it's going to affect how your system runs.

BTW the QT problem in FC3 was with requiring Ctrl-Enter on the setup buttons. That's been fixed in FC4.

I just recently switched from Ubuntu (great distro, slow package response) to FC4 (great distro, slightly bloated, but great package response...Thanks Axel) and I believe I saw the same problem with Ubuntu. Maybe they have the same version of QT, but i doubt it. I had seen it before on a FC3 install with the downgraded urw-fonts. Now that I think about it. I have always seen it and have never really investigated why. Are there others that have the same problem?
