This really ought to be an FAQ; I think this question has been asked half a dozen times in the last week alone. Make sure that you have mysql.txt files that are identical and correct, in /.mythtv, ~root/.mythtv, and ~user/.mythtv (where "user" is the user you run mythfrontend as). See the "slave/master interaction" thread for a more detailed explanation of this. --Greg
