alias char-major-81 videodev
alias char-major-81-0 ivtv
alias char-major-81-1 ivtv
(assuming your first two capture cards are ivtv) and nothing else for
the PVR-x50's.
Not necessarily. According to the ivtv wiki
(http://ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Howto), you don't need this if you have
devfs or udev.
