Just FYI, I have one of these and it works fairly well, at least in winter. I'm ~30 miles from the transmission tower plus my house is located on the far side of a slight ridge but I can still pull in two local channels. An interesting thing that I've noticed is that during summer, when the surrounding trees have full foliage, I can no longer get any channels. Reception returns in the fall once the leaves have dried out :-) Regards, Doug
