I was under the impression that ext3 was ext2 under the skin and was
2gig max.  But the last time I used it was a gazillion years ago
so what do I know...  ;-)

I have a netgear too, Wireless, and Yes it is a switch (ethereal will
not see traffic between two OTHER boxes on the net), and
even the wireless part can keep up, so I don't think its
bandwidth.  It sounds like seek problems which sounds like
file size limits to me.
