Getting MythMusic to work is not the goal here. Getting MythTV, as a

Matt,

Please _do_ persevere.

I'm sure there are many others like me who have spent far too much
time and money trying to make their frontend just one decibel quieter
that like the idea of using a Mac Mini running Linux as a frontend.

The mini is cheap, attractive, and running Linux on it has far better
hack value than an Epia running Linux :)

FC4 went in like nothing, once I nuked the Mac partitions (use the OSX install disc and then dig around for the Disk Manager utility). Linux seems to be running just fine on it. It is MythTV that is giving me such heart-ache! I swear, with all the hype that came about when the Mini was introduced, I would think this would be a slam dunk by now.
But, NOOOOOO!

Matt
