i had this problem. turned out to be a channel tuning problem. go to
mythweb -> settings icon -> channels -> finetune field. i had to adjust
between 0-5 in the finetune setting.

Subject: [mythtv-users] Missing sound on one channel

I've just recently setup a MythTV box, currently with only one PVR-150,
and I'm having one issue with it. Every channel works perfectly (both
recording and live tv), except one. The picture is fine but no sound.
I don't see any errors in the log for the backend or frontend (they're
separate). I'm running Gentoo on the box(AMD Duron 800) with ivtv
version 0.4.0-r3. I've started an emerge world to update some system
libraries along with getting the latest testing release of ivtv (0.4.2),
its there anything else that might cause this?

Any ideas would be appreciated,

Mitch
