Hiya, I've been running a mythtv frontend on an xbox very happily for a good while now. Having heard that dvb radio support had appeared I took the perhaps silly step of trying out building the current SVN.
This all works fine now apart from the remote control no longer works. I've checked and lircd is still working properly - the desktop cursor can still be controlled via the remote, lircd is running etc. If I look in /var/log/syslog, lircd never receives a connection attempt from mythtv. As this is the only thing that's changed, I'm tempted to believe that the frontend isn't trying to connect. I'm 99% positive I selected lirc support when I compiled it, and therefore, the conclusion I come to is that as its the SVN build, IR support may well just be broken at the moment. Can anyone confirm this? I can't see any tickets raised against lirc recently. To debug this, is there anything in the myth logs, or the make files that would suggest whether it ought/ought not to be working?
