When I tested the Swedish translation (located in /usr/share/locale/sv/LC_MESSAGES/myunity.mo) I got English in the UI.

Do not be confused by the fact that Launchpad corrently has a bug (lp:899388) that won't update translation statistics and it incorrectly show misleading red bars, as if the program was not translated. (For example, the Spanish translation is complete from weeks ago and it is still shown in Launchpad as empty) Please use Launchpad translations, they have better quality (at least in Spanish).
