My Unity launcher settings fail with Unity 2D

Fix Released
Bug description:
Running precise beta 1 on a 32 bit system with Unity 2d. Most of the
MyUnity settings work with Unity 2D, but none of the settings on the
launcher tab have any effect at all. This is very confusing and is a
problem for those of us with high-end graphics cards that can't run
Unity 3D due to driver problems.
