I agree it should be in the bottom. It would also be nice if its position could be moved like all the other ones.

In CCSM, I always enable the "Show Desktop" icon (opinion: it should also be there by default!). In Unity 5.4 the icon is placed at the very top of the launcher, above the BFB. This doesn't seem to be intended. It should be in the bottom along with the workspace switcher.
