Definitly, i think service sets, once they are implemented, could do the trick 
here. Meanwhile i wrote a small perl module 
(https://github.com/sni/Monitoring-TT) which kind of does the same thing of 
cascaded type/tag based config.

Its just a external command:

Afaik we don't have that imported in our naemon documentation already.
