Oi Alessandra, primeiro, tente dar um telnet na porta onde o nrpe estah ouvindo (5666 por padrao). Se der conection refused, vah ateh a maquina remota (que deveria estar ouvindo a porta 5666) e veja qual o erro no arquivo de logs (tail /var/log/messages).
