Also, some people talk about having their log files stored/dumped into a mySQL data base. Is this do able in 2.0x? I would love this feature.
Have you looked about nagios-db at nagiosexchange.org? Nagios 2 has dropped sql support. It is only achieved by the nagios-db plugin. I think the project leader is planning something new for nagios3 like a new frontend to upcome the CGIs scalation issue.
