Andreas thanks for the help. strace did the trick. It was a silly over looked mistake. I copied the configs from my old Nagios box. On the new box I didn't have authenication turned on yet. In cgi.cfg I didn't have a user name defined for default_user_name yet. That made it upset. I'm all fixed up now. Thanks again!
