From the foundry mib file:
snChasActualTemperature OBJECT-TYPE
    SYNTAX  INTEGER (-110..250)
 ACCESS read-only
 STATUS mandatory
 DESCRIPTION
  "Temperature of the chassis. Each unit is 0.5 degrees Celcius. Only management module built with temperature sensor hardware is applicable. For those non-applicable management module, it returns no-such-name."
 ::= { snChasGen 18 }

So should be 72 is 36°C

Hi,

I have to monitor the temperature from our Foundry FastIron 4802
Switches via check_snmp.

I found a mib (.1.3.6.1.4.1.1991.1.1.1.1.18.0) but it's return the value
"72", so I thinks that meens "Fahrenheit".

Is there a mib for Celsius available?

thanks
Richard
