Hi folks, I have devices on my network that are "dumb" (unmanaged switches, DSL/cable modems, etc.) that I have host definitions for but set to never notify. These devices are simply entered to get displayed in the Status map diagram to show parent device relationships. I have a hostgroup defined that explicitly lists the dumb hosts in the members directive named DUMBHOSTS. I want a hostgroup that includes everything except the dumb hosts so I can have just the responsive hosts listed in the Service Status Details For All Hosts page. I tried !DUMBHOSTS in the members directive, but Nagios complains about
Error: Could not find any host matching 'DUMBHOSTS' Error: Could not expand member hosts specified in hostgroup (config file ...) Any ideas on how to do this?
