In case any of you should run into this issue in the future, I discovered what was causing this problem:
When I pulled the files from off of our storage server, they must have gotten corrupted in the process. I re-transferred the NSClient to the client machine I want to manage, and re-ran the C:\> nsclient++ /install command - all is well now.
