You could run the following from the nagios server: ssh -C -L 56666:IP.Address.of.certificate-server:5666 -n ip.address.of.LDAP-Server and install NRPE on the certificate server You would then specify the check_nrpe commands to run against port 56666 on the Nagios server which would forward the data via the LDAP server to the Certificate server. As I say, I've not tested this, but in theory at least it should work.
