No, That didn't occur to me till now. Ok, Lets suppose I mount my path on samba and cat the result with cat and grep. How do I put this onto nagios? And there is a problem here... This should return and OK or NOT OK for example. I'm still clueless about how to do that. Thanks for you info anyway. -- Hi - you can probably write a shell-script "wrapper" around your check_whatever plugin and make it return whatever you wish - This is an overly complex example, but should show you what I mean: http://www.zazzybob.com/bin/check_temps.sh.html For the official nagios plugin development stuff, see: http://nagiosplug.sourceforge.net/developer-guidelines.html Regards, Jamie ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Nagios-users mailing list Nagios-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/nagios-users ::: Please include Nagios version, plugin version (-v) and OS when reporting any issue. ::: Messages without supporting info will risk being sent to /dev/null
