-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi there,
I'm currently monitoring an APC UPS via SNMP. The return value from the query can mean a number of different things, but I'm only interested in one. However, the check_snmp plugin seems to work the opposite way I need. check_snmp will alert if a given value is not seen, rather than alerting if a given value *is* seen.. I know I can use the negate plugin to fix this, but this causes misleading information to be left in the "status information" field. Is there a way to overcome this? - -- - --------------------------- Jason Frisvold Network Engineer frisv...@lafayette.edu - --------------------------- "What I cannot create, I do not understand" - Richard Feynman -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkn6CgMACgkQO80o6DJ8UvnfVwCcChMFfRGHPHf1aRjU566I9ax8 Z6AAoJJrsjRBGkCGjNtnS3ZkYYCPx1sW =OCa9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Register Now & Save for Velocity, the Web Performance & Operations Conference from O'Reilly Media.
