The parameter "-n" should be followed by "Name in description OID". The thing is that snmpwalk for one of the switches (3COM 2924) only returns "IF-MIB::ifDescr.1 = STRING: Ethernet Interface" as a description for all interfaces/ports. How can you distinguish between the different ports? What kind of switch(es) do you monitor (manufacturer/model)?
