I used pnp4nagios to gather the data and drraw - the version at http://github.com/perldork/drraw-pnp/tree/master - to do the reporting. In drraw you can amalgamate multiple .rrds in one graph and specify whether you want to display the min/average/max/last values, and choose whatever date range you want.
