check_mk is written in python though, so it won't be affected by embedded perl. Not sure you were saying that. I just wanted to clarify. Some users (on nagios-devel@) have reported a failure to run checks with double quotes in them. It appears the execve() patch caused it. If that's your problem too, you should report it here.
