There are three separate sensible explanations for that. You have, at some time in the past, created an objects.precache file and Nagios is restarted with being asked to use the precached file. Something regenerates the configuration behind your back, overwriting your changes. A separate Nagios process is running, triggering alerts for the faulty team while the restarted Nagios ticks on just fine. -- Andreas Ericsson andreas.erics...@op5.se OP5 AB www.op5.se Tel: +46 8-230225 Fax: +46 8-230231 Considering the successes of the wars on alcohol, poverty, drugs and terror, I think we should give some serious thought to declaring war on peace. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Try New Relic Now & We'll Send You this Cool Shirt New Relic is the only SaaS-based application performance monitoring service that delivers powerful full stack analytics.
