If my distribution (fedora 20) uses the `NUROSPMFATK+-J' set of attributes, I'm missing the following from my list : - S = ? - P = ? - M = ? - K = ? - + = ? - - = ? - * = ? - H = ? If my distribution uses the `NU *HMFATK+-J' set of attributes, then I'm missing the following from my list: - * = ? - H = ? - K = ? - + = ? - - = ? I suspect my distribution uses the the `NU *HMFATK+-J' attributes because I was able to get the 'H' flag to appear by entering 'ho2' (for message 2). However, my 'SYSV3' environment variable is not set and and I've not set the 'bsdflags' binary option. So I'm not sure why it uses 'H' instead of 'P' for hold/preserved. Any thoughts on this? I'm trying to make each of the remaining attributes appear in my list of message headers so that I understand what causes each of these codes. Here's are the results of my current effort: - 'S' - At the '&' prompt, I entered 's2' to try to save message 2. This results in '"2" [New file] 20/652'. Then, use the 'h' command to renew my list of headers, but no 'S' status is displayed next to message 2. What am I doing wrong? Or, is this because my distribution uses the `NU *HMFATK+-J' set of status codes, which does not include 'S'? Instead, the '*' is in the 'S' place. Does '*' mean saved? - 'M' - 'mboxed' according to the S-nail manual. Skipped because it may not be applicable to my environment. - 'K' - I was able to kill and unkill a specific message via k# and unkill#, but killed messages disappear, so I wasn't able to view the 'K' attribute. Any way to view this to verify it? - '+' - 'start of a collapsed thread' changed to threaded mode and it works - '-' - 'collapsed' according to the S-nail manual. Can't get this to appear -- thoughts? - '*' - I was able to get this flag to appear, but I don't know how. Which command will make this flag appear? - 'H' = Hold/Preserved Thanks again for all your help.
