May I ask what gel system you are using? I don't use one that has base,
then builder, then top. I use a one step, comes in pink white or clear,
pretty much brushes on like polish, one, two, or three coats, depending on
how thick you make it. Easy as pie, and files like butter. I use starnails
T-3 fiber gel without the fiber strips, I don't need them and don't use them,
I also do not use tips I only sculpt. Once I got used to working with the gel,
building sculpts became easier to do than AC. I can now do a full set of
sculpts in a little over an hour, If I am just placing on their own natural
nail, then it takes about 45 minutes from start to finish.

Now I will tell you when I first started, I tried the brisa, teaching
myself with a video and paper instructions, took me 4 hours. I hated it, but
with practice and lots of mistakes, I must say I can do a pretty nice set of
nails. Although I haven't played with brisa much since, like I said I use the
starnails T-3 fiber gel, I should give it a try again, just to see if I can
do it now, knowing how gel works and all.

Don't give up, just keep plugging away at it, you will get it, after all
it just takes time and practice.

    Good Luck,
    Shannon

        Vito,
I'm having the same problem, I keep complaining to Gina, its taking me
too long to do a fullset of gels and a fillin , its so different than acrylic.
But I'm not giving up!
