Shannon, Usually, glue isn't involved. They are pressed into nearly set acrylic or the tacky layer of gel. they are then overlaid with more of the same product. Hope that helps a little!

I have my canes almost paper thin, so that they are fairly flexible and as flush as I can get them. I did a really simple set last night, not sculpted, it was during a fill and I used her length that already had gel on them, anyway, I was only applying three canes per hand and it took me I would dare say close to 20 minutes just getting these dang things to stay put. Glue and hold and blow and hold and darn it resituate hold and blow. I'm telling ya I would have had her done in about an hour and a half at the most, but we were at least two hours. ARgghhhhhh!!! Thank god she was my last client. Please help............. I gotta figure these things out.
