I bought an iphone about a month ago. I believe you can only get the iphone
through AT&T so that might be an issue if you don't use/want to use them. I
love it. My husband has some smartphone from Verizon. He's played around with
mine and says that it's MUCH more user friendly than his is. His is through
work though, so he didn't have the option to get an iphone. I pay $30 extra a
month for unlimited internet access and have had no issues getting on and
checking things whenever I've wanted to. I have the new 16gig 3G one and it's
great. Ok, I did do something to it the other day and had to reformat it all.
That sucked but something also had happened to my computer just before that so
it makes me wonder if the problem originated with my laptop. You do all the
upgrades via itunes. It takes pretty darn good pictures, too. I still have my
PDA that I use for appointments for when I'm at the retirement salon but
eventually I want to switch it all to the phone to make it easier. I would
recommend it to anyone.

I have noticed that several people send messages through their iphone or
blackberry. Can you tell me a little more about why you decided to use one of
these and is it worth it? What feature do you use most and what are the must
have features? My cell contract is up in October and I wanted to get one
mainly for scheduling. Any and all info is greatly appreciated as always!!
Have a great weekend!!
