I have less expensive alternative for you. We have a kit in our Cinapro line called "Crushed Shells and Glitter Kit". www.cinapro.com The entire kit costs only $4.95. That exact color of straight glitter is in the kit. Don't mix it with your acrylic because all you'll do is end up with more red in some balls and less red in other balls. What you do is put your glitter in a small glass dappen dish. Then, make your acrylic ball just like you're going to do a nail. After you have the ball of acrylic on your brush, dip it into the glitter. The glitter will coat the ball. Then when you place the ball, roll it off your brush so that the glitter side is UP and the acrylic side is on the nail. Now just press and patt the ball just as if it were a normal ball of acrylic.
For MORE glitter work with smaller balls. For less glitter work with larger balls. This method will work for any kind of glitter....mylar shapes, dust, crushed shells ...anything. Mixing it is just a big waste of powder and glitter and way too inconsistent. The item number at cina is CI-18003 :) Elaine On Mon, Sep 22, 2008 at 5:41 PM, Kent Bushey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > I am looking for a glitter acrylic that looks like the ruby slippers from > the Wizard of Oz....(bright red with lots of glitter and sparkle......
