Anyhoo...I had my eye surgery yesterday...not painful...my throat hurts the most ...I suppose because of the tube they put down when they put you out. Well I have a halloween costume for tomorrow..i will be Rocky...black and blue eyes and swollen Perfect! LOL!! I still am tearing tho :( Dr said it could take 2-6 weeks to figure out if the operation worked! Good news is he was able to open up 3 of the 4 tear ducts! He thought that wasn't going to be an option but it was ! You only need 1 tear duct to do the job... supposedly.....(in each eye) my right canal..that the tear ducts drain into was scarred shut so he had to re-route that tube into my nose. I think these tubes are the plastic ones and they come out in about 4-6 months....but i don't know about the canal one...but i can't feel it so... I have afew stitches in my nose on the right side...but my glasses hide it so i don't care...just hope these tears go away! Now Karen...I am thinking about you...you probably won't be posting for a week or so but hopefully everything went well...anybody hear anything from her or about her? Vicki?? Deb??
