Adrienne, I have not liked the results I get with odorless acrylics when
I've tried them.

So here are some ideas about reducing odors:

Use a trash receptacle that blocks odors in..I use a "diaper genie" type
trash can

Use a menda pump instead of an open dappen dish

Don't have your monomer open any longer than needed.and immediately after
application, clean up your brush and put it away, throw away your table
wipe, etc.

Spritz an essential oil spray in the surrounding area immediately after
application

Best idea ever: A friend hung an "over the oven" hood over her table
attached to a dryer hose that went to the outside.but instead of the noisy
fan that is right there at the hood, she had a small exhaust fan on the end
of the hose that was at the outside end. She flipped a switch to turn it
on.it was a very small, very quiet fan, and it worked really well to pull
odors out.as well as teeny airborne particles.

Or..Try gels instead of odorless acrylics?

Good luck to you in your new place!

Subject: NailTech:: odorless acrylic question and other stuff

So I have changed salons recently, and everything there is awesome so
far...it's still the honeymoon phase...but the owner requested I use
odorless acrylic. MMMM, not loving it, but I'll give it a try. My first
set took FOREVER to set up on Friday, and she called to come back in today
because the gel topcoat cracked...only on the white, and they yellowed
badly.

Any tips or suggestions? I read somewhere else odorless can not be used
with colored acrylic. I use young nails mostly and some creative. Aren't
there some type of drops I can buy to put in my monomer? Is anyone using
odorless everyday?
