I took the C-pod 1 here in Canada (NASP) . It's GREAT having the extra
education for your pedicures . I think everyone should do it

Pedicurist and Medical Nail Tech?

Hiya Tarsha I am so glad that you asked this question!!!!

The Master Pedicure Program is an excellent program - I am a CMP2 hoping to go
all the way to my BA Podology in Canada!
Janet and Dr Bob also highly recommend the NASP program. It is for becoming a
high level and comprehensive salon and spa pedicure master - which is very
important, even if you want to do what I am doing - thus the many courses. This
one (MNT) I feel is more targeted for what I want to do, as in specifically
attract certain clients (those who are no longer trusting us techs) and doc
referrals. (There is a LOT of marketing material in it.) Also, I wanted the
advanced information for working with doctors. But I feel the NASP course is
important to my goals, also!

I don't feel each excludes the other. Instead, to be the best I want to be in
my career, I took them both - though am far from finished with the NASP
program. Let's say they are 'synergistic'! They support each other, but can
stand alone in their own purposes, also.

Katharin von Gavel of NASP, Janet and Dr. Bob of medinail.com agree on the
philosphy of working properly and safely on clients, and that fits right with
my ideas also, for certain! But also, I think advanced educ takes you way far
in the eye of the public. It sure has worked for me!

I will say I loved the online part of the medinails courses. THAT worked for
me! And I was able to finish the entire course and move into doing what it said
very quickly.

Im sure you will find the one that fits your needs. If you ever need more info
you can always email myself, Janet or Dr Bob at anytime!

Ok girl much love

Hi I was wondering what is the difference between becoming a medical nail
tech then master pedicurist? I want to do both however to become a master
pedicurist you have to take classes all over.
